Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty's tower is constructed with MDF and overlaid with real sandstone.Their are three sets of french doors in the tower and a wrap around balcony,i used Sue Cook plaster work around the doors and also the balustrade.
I used Creeping ivy which is ment to be for miniature war games models but i found it to be perfect to use as a climbing roses.

I used seven scale model trees and also grass matting to create a garden at the foot of the tower. There are many different miniature plants and bushes used to give the appearance of an overgrown garden.
Throughout the garden there are many animals that can be seen, beautifully sculpted by Irmgard Gritzan.
Sleeping Beauty's bed is beautifully  decorated with handmade flowers and leaves by Tanya Harvey along with beautifully hand sculpted Sleeping Beauty.
In this photo you can truly see the amount of detail that has been added to this bed including the hand embroidered bedding. There are ornate plaster columns in the room wrapped in roses and ivy,the ceiling is decorated with 24ct gold leaf and a ceiling dome and the floor is decorated with a cream marble.
